Margaret W. “Peg” (nee Wainwright) Crawford, age 79, of Ft. Pierce, FL, formerly of Wrightstown died suddenly on Friday, June 27 at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia.
Peggy was born in Trenton and attended Pemberton High School. She was employed as a bus driver for Bordentown High School and then drove for Pemberton Township. She retired from Pemberton Township in 1990.
Daughter of the late Edna and William H. Wainwright, Sr., mother of the late Marlene Bradford, sister of the late Josephine Richardson and Lois Barrett and grandmother of the late John Edward Walton, she is survived by her husband of 38 years, John S. Crawford; her sons, Ralph Walton, Jr. of Texas and Edward Stanhope of Arkansas; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Jean & Donald Farley of DeWitt, IA; her stepchildren, Michael & Maryann Crawford of Burlington, NJ and Debra & Bob Scanlon of Franklin, TN; two sisters, Eugenia “Jean” Bird & husband Lester of Wrightstown and Deloris Boike & husband Randolph of Crewe, VA; a brother, William H. Wainwright & wife Janet of Mansfield Twp.; 17 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 30 at 8:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with Rev. Norman Eckley, officiating. Calling hours will be on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.

Ingeborg G. McKulsky, age 74, of Wrightstown died Sunday, June 22 at Burlington Woods in Burlington. Born in Germany, she was a resident of Wrightstown since 1984 and formerly of Bordentown.
She was a retired cosmetologist for Sav-On Pharmacies in Yardville.
Ingeborg is survived by her longtime companion, John Bennett of Wrightstown; a daughter & son-in-law, Stephanie and Fred Lane of New Egypt; two grandchildren, Travis & Jason Lane of New Egypt and brothers, sisters, nieces & nephews in Germany.

Dorothy E. Duchat, age 86, of Yardley, PA died Sunday, June 22 at her residence. Born in New Egypt, she was a resident of Yardley since 1959.
Daughter of the late Frank P. & Gussie (Buckalew) Emery and mother of the late John Donnelly, she is survived by her husband, John Duchat of Yardley; a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce & William Costic of Fairless Hills, PA; three sisters, Margaret Hurley of New Egypt, Thelma Raymer of Dewitt, PA and Lorraine Hanley of Somersville, SC, two grandchildren, Kristie Dean of Levittown, PA and Jackie Donnelly of North Carolina and several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 28 at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery in New Egypt. Calling hours will be on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Margaret L. “Peggy” Bunning, age 69, of Browns Mills died Friday, June 20 at Lourdes Hospital in Willingboro after a long illness. Born in Trenton, she was a lifetime area resident.
Peggy was predeceased by a daughter, Robin Erickson. She is survived by her husband, Warren Marks of Browns Mills; her children, Ken Bunning and wife Andrea of Browns Mills, Susan Atkinson of Shamong, Tammy Hopkins and husband Gary of Pemberton and Brian Marks and wife Dawn of Tabernacle; a son-in-law, Dave Erickson of Browns Mills; her grandchildren, Ashley, Jessica, Jennifer, Frankie, Kaitlyn, Rebecca, Noah and Brandy; her great grandchildren, Casey and Catrina and also survived by many friends.

Charlotte E. Hyman, age 75, of East Windsor died Monday, June 16 at the Princeton Medical Center in Princeton. Born in New Lisbon, she was a resident of New Egypt for 30 years before moving to East Windsor 10 years ago.
Wife of the late Allan L. Hyman, Charlotte is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Capak of East Windsor, a grandson, Mark Capak, Jr. of East Windsor, three brothers, Eugene Fulmer of Florida, David Fulmer of North Carolina and Richard Fulmer of Browns Mills, two sisters, Grace Horton of New Egypt and Patricia Langlois of Massachusetts and several nieces and nephews.

Alice M. Keane, age 77, of Jackson died Monday, June 16 at Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood. Born in Johnstown, PA, she was a resident of Jackson for the past 35 years and formerly of Elizabeth.
Wife of the late John Keane, she is survived by two sons, Dennis Novosel and wife Rosemarie of Allentown and George Novosel of Sayreville, her longtime companion, Edward Woodruff of Lakewood, two sisters, Margaret Piekul of California and Betty DeFiore of Pennsylvania, four grandchildren. George, James, Dennis and Melissa Novosel and three great grandchildren, Laci, Luke and Ava Novosel.

Bernhardt M. “Mike” Dungan, Jr., age 65, of Wrightstown died Monday, June 16 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly. Born in Baltimore, MD he was a longtime resident of Wrightstown.
Mike was a veteran of the US Army serving from 1960-1974, during Vietnam, receiving 3 Bronze Stars. He also was retired from the New Jersey Air National Guard. Mike also worked for the Army-Air Force Exchange and also for Leonard Studios on Fort Dix. He was a member of the Cookstown VFW Post.
Mike is survived by his wife, Mary (nee Kelly) Dungan; a daughter, Ellen Nash & husband Frank of Westampton; two sons, Bernie Dungan of Massachusetts and Jerry Dungan of Wrightstown; three brothers, Michael Dungan of Delaware, Weldon Dungan of Maryland and Karl Dungan & wife Karen of Maryland; a granddaughter, Alexandra Nash of Westampton and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 23 at 11:30 AM at the Chapel of the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road in Wrightstown with military honors. Calling hours will be on Monday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt.

Richard E. Fennel, Sr., age 53, of Southampton died Thursday, June 12 at home. Born in Offenbach, Germany, he was a resident of Southampton for the past 2 years and formerly of New Egypt.
Richard had been employed for 34 years as a Parts Technician for several area Ford dealers, most recently Haldeman Ford in Hamilton.
Son of the late Richard and Mildred Fennel, he is survived by three children, Richard E. Fennel, Jr., Marie Fennel and Allison Fennel all of Cream Ridge and his former wife, Dinese Fennel also of Cream Ridge.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 21 at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery, 1137 North Broad Street in Hillside, NJ.

Hilda Windfelder, age 88, of Wrightstown died Thursday, June 12 at home. Born in Canada, she was a resident of Queens, NY before moving to Wrightstown 22 years ago.
Hilda was retired from the accounting department of Bear Sterns in New York and during WWII, while her first husband was serving in the military, Hilda worked as a riveter for the Douglass Aircraft factory in San Diego, CA.
Wife of the late Robert “Bob” Love and the late Joseph Windfelder and mother of the late Robert Love, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carol & Larry Nixon of Surf City, NJ; a daughter-in-law, Manuella Love of Boynton Beach, FL; six grandchildren, Karen MacFarland of Wrightstown and Larry R. Nixon, Jeffrey Nixon, Robert Love, Christine Love and Kenneth Love all of San Francisco, CA and two great grandchildren, Ashley and Andrew MacFarland.

Carmela Riccardi, age 85, of New Egypt, passed away Saturday, May 17 at home. Born in Jersey City, she resided in Union Beach for many years before moving to New Egypt twenty years ago.
She was a parishioner of the Church of the Assumption in New Egypt and a life member of the Rosary Society of Holy Family Church in Union Beach. Carmela was also a past president of the Union Beach Parent-Teacher Association.
She was the beloved wife of Louis Riccardi, Sr., who predeceased her in 2004 and the devoted mother of Louis Riccardi, Jr., who predeceased her in 1968. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn and Laurie Riccardi of New Egypt and Mark and Ann Riccardi of Belford. She also leaves four loving grandsons, Mark, Louis, Michael and Benjamin. In addition she is survived by her sisters, Jean Petrick of Union Beach, Shirley Ledden of Union Beach and Marie Spattolla of Las Vegas, NV, her brothers, Guy Salvatore of Bayonne and Gary Salvatore of Florida and many nieces and nephews
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 21 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption, 76 Evergreen Road in New Egypt with Father Joseph Farrell, officiating. Mabel M. (nee Housekeeper) Notarangelo, age 70, of Three Bridges, NJ died Saturday, May 10 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington. Born in New Egypt, she was a resident of Three Bridges for the past twelve years and formerly of Ringoes.
Mabel was a graduate of Allentown, NJ High School, was a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts, was active in the Little League but spent most of her time raising her six children.
Daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Hurley) Housekeeper and sister of the late George Housekeeper, she is survived by six children, Michael Notarangelo and wife Sue of Pottstown, PA, Anna Albanese and husband John of Far Hills, Joseph J. Notarangelo of Ringoes, Deanna Ventura and husband Armando of Orlando, FL, Ralph Notarangelo of Easton, PA and Albert Notarangelo of Greenfield, MA; a brother, Ronald Housekeeper of Lawrenceville, GA; four sisters, Emily Wiberg of Whiting, Bertha Stanziale of East Windsor, Mildred Allen of Saratoga Springs, NY and Gertrude Allen of Whiting; six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and her former husband, Joseph Notarangelo of Clearwater, FL.

Harold had worked at Stokes Molded Products in Trenton and for McLean Engineering in Robbinsville.

Debra D. Oakerson, age 53, of Wrightstown, died Friday May 2nd at her residence. Born in Trenton, she had been a resident of Wrightstown for the past 10 years and previously of Bordentown for 14 years.
Debra was an office manager for A-1 Message Center in Hamilton.
Daughter of the late Clarence and Frances Oakerson, she is survived by two sons, Kevin Oakerson and wife Anita of Florence and Dwayne Oakerson of Wrightstown, a brother, Clarence (Sonny) Oakerson and wife June of Tallahassee, FL., a sister, Delores Smith and husband Sam of Tennessee, three grandchildren, Kevin, Khristian, and Alissa Oakerson, all of Florence, and several nieces and nephews.

Col. Paul L. DeHaas

Col. Paul L. DeHaas (Ret.), age 98, of New Egypt passed away on Tuesday, April 29 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Trenton. Born in State College, PA, he had been a resident of New Egypt since 1964.
Colonel DeHaas was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, the Armed Forces Staff College, and the Army Management School. He was past Comptroller of the First United States Army, past Director of Highway Safety of the State of New Jersey, past Commander of the American Legion Post 455 in New Egypt, past President of the Administrative Board and past lay leader of the New Egypt United Methodist Church, past President of the Plumsted Township Board of Education, and past President of the Philadelphia Continental Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution. He was Senior Steward of the Pyramid Lodge No. 92 F. & A. M., member of the Fort Dix Retiree Council, and past Chairman of the Investment Advisory Committee of the Military Investment Trust.
Among his decorations were the Army Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star Medal, and the Army Commendation Medal. He saw action during WWII in both the European and the Pacific theaters and held two battle stars. He remained in the Army during the Korean and Vietnam conflicts serving in the Pentagon in Washington, DC and retired as the Comptroller of the First US Army at Governors Island, NY in October 1964.
He was predeceased by his wives, Dorris and Zelmira, son Gary and brother Karl. He is survived by his daughter, Susan Cooper and her husband Alan of Montville, NJ, nephews Raymond DeHaas and William Skidgel, nieces Barbara Capman, Doris Mirucki, and Cindy Hansen.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday evening, May 4 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the New Egypt United Methodist Church, 38 N. Main Street in New Egypt with funeral services at 8:00 PM with Pastor Kim Wecht and Rev. Norman Eckley, co-officiating. Interment will be in the Williams Memorial Cemetery in New Millport, PA.
