Caskets

Tilghman Funeral Home offers a full range of caskets. Caskets are designed to meet the needs of our diverse families. The two basic types of caskets are metal and wood. A variety of colors and styles as well as wood types are available.

Caskets can be personalized with interiors that meet the personality or lifestyle of your loved one.

Outer Burial Containers

Although it is not required by New Jersey Law, most cemeteries require an outer burial container. The primary purpose is to protect the casket and the integrity of the grave space from the weight of the earth above and around. The outer burial container can range from a concrete grave liner to vaults lined with a variety of materials designed to protect the casket. We have a display with a full range of outer burial containers in our showroom.

Urns

If cremation is chosen, an urn may be selected to hold the cremated remains. There are several choices to consider as final disposition of the cremated remains. Options may include burial in a cemetery, keeping them at home or even scattering them in a special place. Tilghman Funeral Home has urns designed to meet all these needs.
